A few honest answers
Can I use doot for free? add
Yes. The web app has a free plan you can use for as long as you like. Monthly can be cancelled any time; Lifetime is one payment and never renews.
What happens if I cancel? add
Your data stays in your account through the end of your billing period — nothing disappears mid-month. If you need an export before then, email me at aditya@humandspark.com and I'll send a copy within a day.
Can I move from Monthly to Lifetime? add
Yes. Buy Lifetime from the paywall in the app, then cancel the Monthly subscription in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions so it stops renewing. Apple does not refund the unused part of the current month.
How does payment work? add
Subscriptions go through the Apple App Store. Download doot on iOS, pick a plan in the app, and Apple handles billing, taxes (EU VAT, UK VAT, US sales tax, GST), and renewals. You can manage or cancel any time from your iPhone in Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions.
Why isn't there a web checkout? add
doot is iOS-first at launch — that's where most of our users live. Apple handles billing, tax, and refunds for iOS, so we're leaning on that until web demand tells us otherwise. Once you've subscribed on iOS, your Pro access syncs to the web app at app.dootit.com automatically.
